The Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Lens delivers very sharp images as inexpensively as Canon lenses get. Build quality of the 50 f/1.8 is very favorable (as one might expect). The lens feels more like a toy than a piece of optics. It uses plastic construction up to Mount lens (the lenses are made of glass, of course). The lightweight material with the small size (2.7″ x 1.6″ 68.2mm x 41.0mm – WxL) is the lens in the featherweight class – 4.6 oz (130 g) combined. The 50 f/1.8 Canon is currently the lightest and shortest lens. Considering how easily the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II lens, I think the plastic mount has sufficient strength. They could carry more than you, if you want the lens to be changed frequently.
There is not much to this lens. There is no distance window or markings. There is hardly any focus ring – and the tiny ring that it is barely usable. Autofocus is powered by a micro-motor. Focus speed is not brilliant, but nice in a good light with issues that are not moving too fast. The Canon 50mm f/1.8 II lens is EF a Canon higher Buzzi lenses – you know, when it disposes. But this is not a wildlife lens – and the noise will probably not bother most people. I suppose one positive aspect of the sound is that you know when it works – and when the focus is locked. FTM (Full Time Manual) focusing is not included. The 50 f/1.8 extends up to 16.5″ while the focus – does not turn the very small 52mm filter itself.

The Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II lens is a good low-light indoor photography lens – especially when a flash is inappropriate or not desirable. It works very well in a church or gym for example. Apart from a mediocre bokeh that makes a good focal length for f/1.8 50 full-body portraits. When mounted on a 1.6 FOVCF camera, you need some extra room to a full body picture to reach and perhaps also want to head shoulder portraits capture with this lens.

Do you travel with light luggage? Install the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II lens on a small DSLR and you have one of the smallest, lightest and cheapest Low-light combinations.
